• Distance measurement error to a fault place on a high voltage depends on measurement conditions and a breakdown voltage of the damaged section. In case of distance measurement on high voltage in the mode of " floating breakdown ", idling, short circuit the error is from +15 to +25 meters at a distance to 1 km, and from +20 to +40 meters at a distance over 1 km.
